We are committed to building a people-first culture that prioritizes clinical excellence, partnership, and long-term growth.We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Business Development Director to lead our strategic expansion efforts. This high-impact role is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and executing dental practice acquisitions, affiliations, and partnership opportunities. The Business Development Director will play a key role in shaping the future of our organization and will report directly to the Cherry Tree Dental President and serve as a member of the organization's leadership team. **This role can be primarily work from home, but will need to work in our Madison, WI office periodically, therefore candidates should be within a reasonable driving distance to Madison, WI. In addition, travel is anticipated to be a minimum of 50%, based on business needs.**Key Responsibilities:Develop and execute strategic plans to identify and target new dental practice acquisition opportunities in key markets.Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities in the DSO space.Establish and maintain relationships with dental practice owners, brokers, consultants, and other industry stakeholders.Proactively identify and engage potential acquisition targets through networking, outreach campaigns, and industry events.Collaborate with finance and operations teams to assess the financial viability, clinical quality, and cultural fit of prospective practices.Support the development of valuation models and deal structures in alignment with organizational goals.Lead the due diligence process in collaboration with legal, clinical, finance, and compliance team.Manage all aspects of deal negotiation and closing in partnership with Cherry Tree Dental leadership team.Work closely with executive leadership, board of directors, and other key stakeholders to align growth initiatives with broader company strategy.Partner with marketing, operations, and other teams to ensure seamless onboarding of new practices.What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Finance, or related field.7-years of experience in business development, M&A, or strategic partnerships, preferably within the dental or healthcare industry.Demonstrated track record of successful deal sourcing and execution.Strong understanding of dental practice operations and DSO business models.Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion.
