About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to oversee all financial operations and strategic planning. The CFO will be responsible for the growth and profitability of the organization, managing services and activities for multiple service lines, and ensuring the success and credibility of the company through the delivery of innovative, quality, and cost-efficient programs. This role involves leading the administration of comprehensive financial programs, maintaining the highest standards of clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction, and providing superior levels of physician and patient services. The CFO will also be involved in the operational management of existing healthcare facility contracts, as well as new physician and facility affiliations, and will act as a resource and consultant to the Board of Directors and CEO in directing financial strategies and investment guidance.
Candidates for the CFO position at the company should have a minimum of ten years' progressive financial leadership experience in a large hospital or health system, with a strong preference for those with experience in critical access hospitals. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial and operational performance, in-depth knowledge of strategic planning, budgeting, and operations, and deep expertise in revenue cycle management. Strong experience in managed care contracting and payer relations is also essential. The CFO must be a team player, with the ability to lead and influence a diverse staff, and should possess excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. A bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for an advanced degree in business or healthcare administration and/or a CPA. Hiring Manager Title
