Overview

Executive Search Associates is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join an independent critical access hospital in Oregon. This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the long-term success of a thriving rural healthcare facility.

Description

The CFO will oversee all financial aspects of the hospital, including budgeting, financial reporting, revenue cycle management, and expense control. This vital role reports directly to the CEO and involves collaborating with the executive team and board of directors to develop and implement financial growth strategies.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budgeting, financial reporting, and expense control.
• Manage revenue cycle performance and optimize financial operations.
• Lead a team of financial professionals, including the Controller, Materials Director, Patient Financial Services Director, and Facilities Director.
• Collaborate with the executive team and board of directors on strategic planning.
• Ensure the hospital's financial stability and independence.
• Identify opportunities for financial improvement and growth.

Requirements

• Proven track record in financial management, ideally within a healthcare setting.
• Expertise in budgeting, forecasting, revenue cycle management, and expense control.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Proficiency with financial software, including Axiom and Sage.
• Deep understanding of healthcare finance and regulations.
• Experience in a rural healthcare setting is a plus.
