Job Description
We are currently seeking a reliable and professional Class C Delivery Driver to join our team. This position involves operating a 26-foot box truck (or smaller) to complete local deliveries to retail stores. Based out of Elk Grove Village , this role offers consistent full-time hours , local routes , and the benefit of being home daily .
Key Responsibilities:
Safely operate a 26-foot box truck or smaller vehicle.
Deliver merchandise to retail store locations in a timely and efficient manner.
Unload products at each stop with care and professionalism.
Follow delivery schedules and route instructions accurately.
Maintain communication with dispatch regarding route progress.
Provide excellent customer service during deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance.
Requirements:
Valid Class C driver’s license.
Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
Prior delivery experience preferred (especially in retail or route-based delivery).
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical work.
Strong communication and time-management skills.
Dependable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
