Overview Position for a Cleaning Supervisor focused on post-construction clean-up. Responsibilities include supervising cleaning staff, overseeing site clean-up after subcontractors, inventory of equipment and supplies, and coordinating with contractors to ensure clean-up meets project standards. Responsibilities Oversee construction clean-up and supervise other cleaners to ensure the job is completed to standard; take inventory of equipment and supplies for the job. Manage site clean-up after subcontractors, preparing the area for the next subcontractor (e.g., flooring, painters, cabinetry); dispose of debris and trash properly; conduct walk-throughs with contractors to confirm expectations and follow up to ensure the clean-up meets standards. Post-construction cleaning of interior spaces (homes, offices, or structures) to prepare for new occupants; wipe down ceilings, fixtures, walls, cabinets, windows, mirrors, baseboards, counters, appliances, and other fixtures; sweep and mop floors and outdoor areas; use products suited to the materials being cleaned and avoid harsh chemicals on delicate surfaces such as granite, marble, or quartz. Inspect completed work to ensure it meets specifications and standards; evaluate facilities to determine required work; plan and prepare employee work schedules; perform and assist with cleaning duties; check and maintain equipment; establish and implement operational standards and procedures for the department supervisor. Qualifications Experience supervising cleaners in construction or site-cleaning environments; ability to oversee multiple crews and ensure quality standards. Strong coordination skills to work with contractors and subcontractors; ability to take and manage inventory of equipment and supplies. Knowledge of cleaning products and safety practices; ability to select appropriate cleaners for different materials and to follow project-specific instructions.
