Needing a RDH for Mondays and Tuesdays with a possibility of more days in the future. Pay can be discussed during Interview. We look forward to speaking to our next awesome team member.\

Responsibilities:\
\
Provide superior patient care and service -exhibit outstanding customer service and hospitality as well as chair side manner.\
Take radiographs of patients using standard dental radiographic equipment (all X-rays are digital).\
Stay on schedule as much as possible to create no patient wait time -help manage patient flow -maintain time flexibility for patient -be present, engaged, ready to work at all assigned shift times.\
Educate patient on oral hygiene, health, disease as well as procedures and services -establish/communicate continued care.\
Verify patient health history and document appropriately in patients chart.\
Maintain patient confidentiality through HIPAA compliance\
Screen for Oral Cancer\
Take and record patients blood pressure accurately\
Maintain accurate and legible notes in patients chart\
Assist with other office duties as requested or needed, Sterilize dental instruments properly\
Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history\
\
Identify oral conditions (e.g. gingivitis or periodontitis)\
\
Clean and help protect patients teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride)\
\
Skills\
Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role\
In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA)\
Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment\
Outstanding communication skills\
A patient and friendly personality\
Attention to detail\
Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job\
Diploma in Dental Hygiene -Masters is a plus\
Valid license to practice in the state of New Mexico\
