Role Summary
The Finance Manager is a core member of ATG’s management team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This role ensures financial planning and analysis (FP&A) as the primary responsibility, including accurate reporting, robust forecasting, and disciplined cash management to support growth. The Finance Manager will assist with lenders and bankers, maintain transparency with the board and investors, and provide insight to guide hiring, resource allocation, and investment decisions. The Managing Director will provide training in these areas. By maintaining strong systems, cost accounting, and forecasting for major equipment expenditures, this role helps ATG scale sustainably while enhancing margins and cash flow. Key areas of focus include:
Reporting, Planning, and Forecasting
· Deliver monthly financials (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, KPIs) within 5 business days of month-end, with 100% accuracy
· Ensure lender reporting packages are completed within 5 business days and fully captured within financial reporting
· Support and maintain cash flow visibility and forecasting; training will be provided on specific models such as 13-week cash flow
· Establish and maintain robust forecasting processes for revenue, profit, cash flow, pipeline, and expenditures
· Provide financial analysis to support business plans, ROI on initiatives (e.g., marketing, hiring, technology), and client/project-level profitability
· Forecast and track major equipment expenditures in collaboration with procurement and operations
Cash Flow, Working Capital & Growth Management
· Support management of revolver and working capital facilities, including tracking utilization and forecasting requirements in coordination with the Managing Director
· Ensure client payments remain at ≥98% current by coordinating with sales and clients on collections
· Manage early payment programs from key customers to optimize cash position
· Establish and maintain cost accounting to track project margins, service costs by client, and variance between bid vs. executed GP
· Work with Business Operations Manager to ensure invoices are accurate and on time
· Provide financial input into resourcing strategy, balancing internal vs. outsourced capacity to support growth
Compliance, Banking, and Audit
· Ensure all lender, tax, and insurance commitments are met with zero breaches or late filings
· Lead the annual audit to completion with no material issues
· Establish audit procedures for key systems, especially financial, to ensure accuracy and reliability
· Serve as the key point of contact with lenders, bankers, and outsourced accountant to ensure smooth coordination
Systems, Processes & Special Projects
· Document, standardize, and streamline all financial processes to improve efficiency and transparency
· Maintain and optimize accounting systems to ensure ease of use and integration with operational tools
· Track and report incentive compensation and bonus accruals accurately
· Lead special projects as needed, including selection and integration of a new ERP system in 2026
Margin and Efficiency Enhancement
· Provide analysis and recommendations to improve GP margins and cash conversion efficiency
· Work with procurement and operations to forecast major equipment expenditures and align spend with budget/ROI expectations
· Identify and implement initiatives that improve margins and free cash flow without compromising growth

Experience Requirements
· Finance experience in an operating company environment (growth or project-based business preferred)
· Strong experience in FP&A, including budgeting, forecasting, and business planning
· Ability to manage working capital facilities, lender relations, and audits is nice to have
· Background in financial reporting, cost accounting and job/project-level financial tracking is nice to have
· Preferred: experience with ERP transitions, M&A integration, or systems optimization
Education Requirements
· Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline required
· CPA/CFA or MBA a plus but not required
