Position Summary : Manage aid room and provide patient care to OEC standards of care for guests and employees at resort.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:

• Provide care and comfort to injured guests and employees. This care is primarily provided in the Ski Patrol Aid Room; however, occasionally it may be necessary to respond to emergencies elsewhere in the base area or on the mountain.
• May also assist with advance life support therapies under direction of physician.
• Also assist with transportation and information needs to family and others accompanying patients to hospital or home.

Secondary Responsibilities :

• Maintain accurate and complete incident reports, as well as coordination of physician statements of treatments and referrals.
• While on duty, must be available by radio when away from the aid room.

Specific Job Skills :

License/Certifications- RN license.

Technical- None


Physical Capabilities- Up to 25 lbs frequently, 100 lbs occasionally and extended periods on feet.


Additional- First aid skills including assessment, bandaging, splinting

Education/Related Experience :

Minimum education required- English reading, writing and communication skills. High school diploma or equivalent, first aid and avalanche training required.

Minimum time in related position- Prior National Ski Patrol experience preferred.
