Care Plus TLC is searching for qualified Licensed Practical Nurses/Registered Nurses to join our team! Multiple 12 hour shifts are available and positions pay $34.00 per hour for LPN and RN $42 per hour working up to 36 hours per week. Shift times are 8am-8pm. We are searching for dedicated nurses to care for 1 client in their home in Cedar Springs, MI.

*Responsibilities*
* Take and record vital signs
* Monitor patient’s condition and report changes/concerns to appropriate medical professionals and family members
* Provide Activities of Daily Living care as outlined in the Care Plan-bathing, dressing, feeding, etc.
* Administer prescribed medications including injections, enemas/suppositories, etc as ordered by Physician
* Trach and vent care.
* Feeding tube care and Wound care
* No transfers!
* Repositioning and turning client in bed
* Provide emotional and psychological support when needed
* Understands First Aid and Emergency Care protocols
* Complete electronic documentation while on shift

*Skills*
* Successful completion of LPN/RN license program is a must
* 1 year experience as LPN or RN
* Familiarity with home health, safety and sanitation standards and procedures
* Understanding of confidentiality and Privacy Laws and nursing best practices
* Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks and work as a team
* Ability to learn electronic verification charting software
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Compassionate and able to handle tough situations if needed
* Trach and vent care experience is a MUST

Job Types: Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $34.00 - $42.00 per hour
