Responsibilities


  • Leadership of hotel-wide safety and loss prevention preparedness through development and training of safety-related material.
  • Partner with HR on all training matters internally and externally.
  • Identify training and development needs for the entire hotel.
  • Conduct safety training including OSHA requirements.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures).
  • Coordinate internal and external training for both hotel-wide and departmental programs.
  • Partner with law enforcement on training including cc fraud, counterfeiting, handcuff training, etc.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory training and licensure.
  • Identify and implement specialized training development for all security positions from basic to managerial.
  • Assist managers in resolving training issues on an individual or group basis.
  • Produce training materials and manuals.
  • Maintain spreadsheets of training initiatives including topic, date, and attendance.
  • Maintain all manuals (FB and Security) per HR and departmental specifications.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Thorough knowledge of state and federal laws.
  • Effective supervisory and communication skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and establish and maintain working relationships with guests, management, and staff.
  • Excellent organizational and problem?solving skills.
  • Proficiency in reading, writing, and understanding English.
  • Knowledge, understanding, and compliance with policies and procedures, job descriptions, daily memorandums, chemical labels, and other instructions.


License/Certificate
  • Certified CPR, First Aid, and AED instructor training preferred.
