The Opportunity:
Curative AI, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer for our rapidly growing company. Our cutting-edge AI platform and tools will transform healthcare management, leading with RCM solutions for streamlined documentation, faster claims processing, enhanced clinical decision support, and much more. You will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and maintaining the high availability, cloud-based infrastructure that supports our data-driven initiatives.

Your responsibilities will include designing and deploying scalable, secure and robust cloud environments, managing and troubleshooting the cloud infrastructure, and implementing cloud-specific best practices. You should be experienced in AWS and/or Azure architecture, load balancing, auto-scaling, high availability, and monitoring systems.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize cloud infrastructure needs, develop and implement best practices, and ensure the quality, reliability, and security of our cloud systems. Responsibilities:
  • Design, build, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure environments that support our AI-powered healthcare solutions
  • Implement and maintain robust security configurations to protect cloud systems, data, and infrastructure from potential threats
  • Develop cloud-based systems and networks, creating and implementing optimal storage structures for our healthcare data
  • Collaborate with development teams to ensure cloud solutions meet company standards of reliability and performance
  • Identify and implement optimal cloud architecture solutions to meet strategic business needs
  • Perform system upgrades, security patching, and troubleshooting to maintain up-to-date cloud infrastructure
  • Proactively scale and optimize cloud infrastructure to support business growth and increased user demand
  • Work closely with IT security to establish and maintain privacy controls and compliance standards
  • Provide expertise in infrastructure migration techniques for efficient application transfers to the cloud
  • Monitor cloud operations to detect and remedy potential issues before they impact services
  • Collaborate with team members to continuously improve cloud management and deployment plans
  • Lead root cause analysis and post-incident reviews for production issues impacting infrastructure and services
  • Establish and manage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) pipelines using Terraform or similar tools.
  • Implement structured logging, metrics, and alerting for observability and troubleshooting
Qualifications:
  • You must currently be located in the Seattle Metro Region and able to work hybrid on-site a minimum of three days at our Bellevue location
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related role
  • Strong technical knowledge and experience in cloud-based systems like AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, including in-depth cloud networking expertise
  • Experience in working on Databricks platform is highly desirable
  • Experience with containerization and virtualization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
  • Terraform and ARM templates experience
  • Strong programming skills in Python and SQL
  • Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for reliable and secure code deployments
  • Ensure high availability, scalability, observability, and performance across all systems
  • Set up and maintain logging, monitoring, alerting, and incident response systems
  • Implement and enforce security best practices, including identity/access management, data encryption, and audit logging
  • Drive automation across the infrastructure stack to eliminate toil and increase deployment speed
  • Experience with network infrastructure, database, and application development
  • Understanding of cloud computing deployment models and best practices
  • Knowledge of system security practices and data backup/recovery protocols
  • Familiarity with data warehousing, data lakes, and high-throughput database architectures
  • Partner with compliance to ensure infrastructure aligns with HIPAA, SOC 2, and other regulatory requirements
  • Contribute to cost optimization and forecasting of cloud resource usage
  • Healthcare experience, notably with RCM solutions, highly desired
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills for complex systems management
  • Detail-oriented with strong troubleshooting abilities for root cause analysis
  • Effective communication skills to interact with different stakeholders and explain technical concepts clearly
  • Ability to work both collaboratively and independently with high initiative
  • High integrity, customer-first mindset, continuous learning orientation, dedication to engineering excellence, and collaborative approach
  • Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Base Salary Range: $135,000 - $175,000 per year (commensurate with experience and qualifications)
