Engineering and Construction (E&C) division is seeking a Technical Metering Project Manager/Engineer to oversee metering systems for renewable development, design, and construction. This role involves ensuring all metering activities meet project requirements and align with commercial agreements, spanning from concept development through construction and commissioning. The candidate will interface with engineering, development, business management, transmission services, and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate should possess strong communication skills, organizational and time management abilities, experience with commercial/contractual agreements, comprehensive knowledge of substation design, and expertise in complex metering systems. Experience coordinating diverse stakeholders and managing third-party engineering firms is also required. Responsibilities: Provide engineering, design, and development support. Track and report on project contractual execution and design progress. Ensure compliance with company standards and policies. Prepare communications, presentations, and support meetings. Research and develop improvement measures. Collaborate with other departments to establish customer requirements. Work extended hours as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years in P&C/Substation/Metering Engineering and Project Management. At least 3 years of metering experience, including reading protection & control drawings, understanding instrument transformers, familiarity with metering technologies (especially Schneider Electric ION-8650 meters), and programming meters. Additional experience in ISO operations (e.g., SPP, MISO, CAISO) is desirable. Skills: Reviewing Large Generator Interconnection Agreements (LGIAs) and Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs). Knowledge of substation design, metering standards, and auxiliary loads. Experience with communication protocols (Modbus, DNP3, MV90), and software suites (SE ION-8650, PME, SEL-735, AcSELerator, Orion LX). Understanding of IEEE-519 2014 Harmonic Standard. Strong interpersonal, organizational, communication skills, and business acumen. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
