The ServiceNow Developer will be responsible for analyzing existing change, configuration, and release management processes, identifying gaps, and leading the implementation of an improved vision for the ServiceNow application. This role involves designing, developing, and customizing ServiceNow modules, integrating with third-party systems, and ensuring code quality and performance.

Responsibilities:
- Identify gaps, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities in ServiceNow implementation.
- Design and develop custom applications, modules, and integrations within the ServiceNow platform.
- Customize and configure ServiceNow modules including ITSM, Knowledge, Service Catalog, and CMDB.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow Dashboards, Portals, workflows, business rules, UI policies, and scheduled jobs.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs and MID servers.
- Collaborate with process owners, architects, and stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to platform best practices.
- Assist in platform upgrades, patching, and performance tuning.
- Provide technical documentation, user guides, and support during testing and deployment.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to configurations, scripts, and integrations.
- Collaborate with various stakeholders to understand existing configuration and change management processes.
Required Skills & Certifications:
- 8+ years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience.
- Strong understanding of core ServiceNow modules including ITSM, CMDB, and Service Catalog.
- Proficient in scripting using JavaScript, Glide API, and ServiceNow Studio.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Skills & Certifications:
- Experience with REST/SOAP API integrations and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, basic auth, etc.).
- Familiarity with ServiceNow Flow Designer, Portal, and Automation Engine.
- Experience with version control tools (e.g., Git) and CI/CD practices in ServiceNow.
Special Considerations:
- On-site presence required at Corporate Headquarters in Arlington, VA, and Dulles Airport Corporate office for at least four days a week (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
Scheduling:
- Work hours should be between 8:00 am and 6:00 pm.
