Talent4Health is seeking a travel Pharmacist for a travel job in State College, Pennsylvania.

The Clinical Staff/Ambulatory Pharmacist delivers comprehensive patient care through:

• Inpatient pharmacy functions:
  • Order entry and verification
  • Medication checking and dispensing
  • Other tasks ensuring safe and effective medication use
• Ambulatory roles (rotational, as assigned):
  • Anticoagulation clinic
  • Oncology
  • Other outpatient services
• Support for diverse patient populations, from geriatrics to pediatrics.

Education:

• Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy – required
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) – preferred

Experience:

• Recent hospital experience – preferred
• Ambulatory rotations: Pharmacy residency experience – preferred
• Advanced practice certifications – preferred

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Understanding of current state and federal pharmacy laws
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with:
  • Pharmacy staff and technicians
  • Healthcare providers and nurses
  • Other health system employees
  • Medical sales representatives

License/Certification:

• Licensed by the Pennsylvania State Board of Pharmacy or eligible for reciprocity within 90 days
• For Anticoagulation Clinic rotations: American Heart Association Healthcare Provider BLS certification, renewed every 2 years

Received:

• Minimal supervision from Pharmacy Manager and Supervisors
