A Truck Driver will safely and efficiently load, transport, and unload heavy construction equipment, material, and debris as instructed in a timely and professional manner. Responsibilities include operating Company vehicles including triaxle and tag trailer, flatbed, tractor trailer, dump trailer, sweeper truck, water truck, off road truck, and cement hauler.

  • Operate Company vehicles including triaxle and tag trailer, flatbed, tractor trailer, dump trailer, sweeper truck, water truck, off road truck, and cement hauler
  • Load, transport, and unload material, debris, and heavy construction equipment in a timely manner over required route
  • Follow specific instructions provided by Equipment Manager and utilize Hauling management software
  • Pre-inspect trucks; facilitate routine service to include checking oil, water, gasoline, and air; report maintenance malfunctions to Equipment Manager; wash and clean interior and exterior
  • Maintain a detailed log of working hours to include job, phase code, and time used.
  • Communicate and coordinate with Superintendents, Equipment Manager, and General Superintendent.
  • Observe all safety regulations and traffic laws
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

Education and Experience

  • High school education or equivalent
  • Class A CDL Driver's License and clean driving record
  • Experience with heavy construction equipment in order to load and unload material, debris and all types of heavy construction equipment
